Every glass tells a Story

The Brandl wine estate is located in the hills of the Weinviertel and Wagram regions. It is a family business deeply rooted in the region’s history. With roots dating back to 1209 as the farm of the Lilienfeld Abbey, our estate has developed over the centuries from a mixed farm to a specialist in viticulture.
Since the late 18th century, each generation of the Brandl family has brought its own history to the soil and vines
of our farm. Today, we are proud to continue this tradition in the eighth generation.

Family in the heart of the wine estate

Our winery is a family business in every sense of the word. Influenced by his training in Krems and international
experience in renowned wineries in Austria and Italy, Christoph Brandl decided to apply what he had learned to his parents’
business.
Franz and Ulrike Brandl laid the foundation for this with their innovative spirit. By introducing stainless steel tanks and
modern pressing systems, our wines have become what they are today – distinctive and full of character.
Today, Christoph continues this tradition and ensures that the wines from the Brandl winery receive recognition: this is confirmed by awards from Falstaff, the Lower Austrian State Wine Fair and the Austrian Wine Challenge (AWC).
